The Embassy of Lebanon in Baghdad released the following communiqué: In view of the difficult conditions that Iraq is passing through currently and the ensuing dangers on peoples lives as well as private and public properties, the Lebanese Embassy in Baghdad calls upon all Lebanese citizens residing in Iraq and those who wish to go there to take into consideration those dangers in utmost seriousness. It further advises the Lebanese to take extreme caution and precaution during their stay in Iraq and in their movements. The Embassy draws attention to the fact that movement from, to, and within Iraq, if not for very necessary reasons, is still not safe or secure, and will be at the individuals personal responsibility.
